Comfort First Insert Booster Pads add 865ml of extra absorbent capacity when layered inside a pull-up pant or wrap around. They're one of the least understood products in the continence range, but also one of the most useful: a booster can extend overnight wear time significantly without stepping up to a bulkier product.

Who booster pads suit

Booster pads work for two main situations: overnight use when a standard absorbency pull-up or wrap around would not last the full night, and extended daytime use when changing every 4 hours isn't practical (a long meeting, a flight, a hospital appointment). Layered inside the main product, the booster pad absorbs first and allows the outer garment to continue functioning longer.

They also reduce waste. Rather than buying a higher-absorbency pull-up for occasional heavy use, a regular pull-up plus an occasional booster pad does the job at lower cost and less bulk.

How to layer booster pads correctly

Place the booster pad inside the pull-up or wrap around, flat against the front panel. Position so the absorbent surface faces up toward the wearer. The booster should sit in the centre of the garment's absorbent panel. Put the garment on normally. The booster absorbs first; once saturated, liquid moves to the main garment's absorbent core.

Use booster pads with: Comfort First Pull-Up Pants, Comfort First Wrap Arounds. Do not use inside regular underwear; they're designed to work with a continence garment, not alone.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use booster pads inside regular underwear?

No. Booster pads are designed to work inside a continence garment (pull-up pants or wrap arounds), not in regular underwear. Used alone they won't stay in place, and the absorbent core isn't designed for direct wear against skin for extended periods.

When should I use a booster pad instead of a higher-absorbency pull-up?

If you need higher absorbency consistently (every night, every long day), a higher-absorbency product makes more sense. If you need it occasionally (the occasional big night, a long flight, a hospital appointment), booster pads let you stay with your normal pull-up and add capacity only when needed.

How often do I change a booster pad?

Change the booster pad at the same time as the outer garment. Typically every 4 to 8 hours. Don't leave a saturated booster pad in place while continuing to wear the outer garment; skin breakdown risk increases.

Are booster pads NDIS funded?

Yes. Booster pads are covered under NDIS continence supports. Visit our NDIS page for ordering details.

Can I try a booster pad before buying a pack?

Yes. Request a free sample pack and we'll include a booster pad so you can test the layering approach with your current garment.
